🔍 OCR — read a scan
Pull the text out of scanned PDFs and photographs. The scan is analysed and cleaned up first — greyscaled, contrast-corrected, thresholded against its own histogram and straightened — because that is what decides how much OCR gets right. Output as text, as a spreadsheet, or as a searchable PDF: the scan exactly as it looks, with an invisible text layer over it. Runs in your browser; the first run downloads a ~10 MB language model.
